Oil leak from somewhere



Can someone please help me identify this oil look from the photos? My best guess is that it's leaking from where the oil cooler meets the oil filter housing.

2002 ML 320 & 2006 ML500


Yes it is coming from the oil cooler and or the oil filter housing. I suggest you replace all the seals as you do not want to do this job twice..

For the oil filter housing removal you will need a 46mm socket.

Thank you sir. I bought the seals. Now I just need to buy the thin wall socket and find time to do it.
