Just got robbed

Yeah, I said it.

$200 for a 10 year old outdated navigation disc for this truck. Seriously, it cant cost more than .05 cents to make. This is straight robbery.

I don't have an unlimited data plan, but i do plan ahead. If I really need to know the exact route, I get most of the way there via major roads and then stop to activate navigation for the last small bit. Even small external navigation like a Tomtom might run you $100-$200 and they work very well.

Yeah, I thought about going that route or a android system. But I just want everything to work and my old disc is damaged so I had to get another one. Didnt want wire running around my system. They are fixing the bumper and stuff this week so I figured I might as well get the nav back up.

They sell them on ebay for $10 and they're updated for 2017. You didn't get robbed, you just made an impulse buy.

I think you can use MCS II DVD's. Maybe someone else can confirm? My MCS is long gone.

No possible way . I have a mcs II disc in my CLS . That disc only works on 2006-2008 ML’s . Not the w163 navs. However, those you can find cheap . Your not going to find a 2008 MCS I disc anywhere for $10 or even for $100. You may find a 2002 mcs for $50-$100 but not a 2008 mcs I disc .
