looking to do this combo.....the only intake I can find is on ebay? really wanted a K&N not a cheap copy....and chips are tough as well.....on place on ebay speetuning is selling them for like 250??? while others want like 600-700??? any input?

i have speedtuning on my previous cars...it was a pretty good product...for the price. i have a custom cold air intake for sale, thats custom for the ML. bought for 400, asking 175.

I'm thinking of making my own cold air intake as well...so that chip was ok?? for alittle over $200 I wonder if its worth a try...did you send out your ECU? is it reverseable? thanks!!!!

yeah, it was OK, remember not great, but worked and never failed on me. yup, i sent it out. im pretty sure its reversible, but im not sure, cause...why would you want too?

Did you get any noticeable performance difference? I'm not sure what kind of performance increase you'd get with just $250 for a new power chip.

slight....but you cant expect night and day difference from just a chip...thats unrealistic. a chips a chip... not saying they are all created equal...but there isnt enough of a difference to pay an extra 500 for slight to no increase in performance. the chip is more for if you plan on further motor work.

the claim is a good bunch of HP? and its not that noticeable?? how about gas mileage?? did it get better or worse??? thanks!

mileage...slightly better. like i said, a chip is good if youre gonna do the intake and exhaust...then as a package it helps. but do the chip after any mods...big or small. be sure to let the chip company know of mods, so they can factor those into the settings.
