stuck oil drain plug 2003 ML500

I went to change my oil today and had to hold off. The oil pan drain plug doesn't seem to want to budge. Any recommendations on getting past that? I don't have access to a lift, so there's not really any room to get a breaker bar underneath the vehicle, and getting a pair of Vise-Grips underneath there was problematic too.

The last thing I want to do is sheer off the bolt.

Kind of frustrating as it was my first attempt on this vehicle. As a side note, the bottom seems to be caked with oil all over the place. Any recommendations on cleaning it off so I can determine if I have a bigger problem looming? Bought the car second-hand, so not sure if it was like that to begin with. Someone changed my oil after I purchased it originally.

If you have a extension to put on a socket and have a wireless impact drill, id try that it might loosen it up.
your oil leak might be from oil level sensor, check that, mine was coming from the top, was hard to find. wipe that area good so its clean and start the car let it run for a wile and check with a flashlight and white cloth.
