Question
I am buying a new ML either a 320 or 500. Should I get the 320 and save some money or will I be wishing I had the 500? I plan on getting it delivered in Alabama as it costs me nothing to fly down and pick it up and I have heard that you get a better deal that way from reading on the board.
What dealer has giving you the best price? if you are a dealer and want to talk please feel free to e-mail at jp@metromalls.com I'm in the Detroit area. But would be willing do deal by fax and phone to save some money.
Thank you, here are the specks I have decided on, as for the X5 I do not they are worth the 10k over the Benz that they charge.
On a 320: Bi-Xenon, Bose, M1, M2, M5, Parktronic, Heated Seats, and Metallic Paint.
On a 500 Bi-Xenon, Bose, M3, M5, Parktronic, Nav CD's, and Metallic Paint

If its not stretching the budget, get the ML500. The ML320 is a little underpowered, the 500 has plenty of punch. If I were you I'd probably skip the Parktronic. It's not all that useful, unless you or your significant other is a terrible judge when it comes to parking manuevers.

The ML500 if its affordable for you. It comes with lots of extras as standard and has lots more power. I would also skip the Parktronic. I had a 98 ML320 before my ML500 and the 98 had very adequate power, however I have driven the newer ML320's and find them not as powerful as the 98 I had most likely due to the fact that the new ones have gained lots of weight.
