No interior lights at night...Dash is completely dark
Recently, my Dash in the '00 ML320 has been dimming on and off while driving. Finally, it went dark. The wierd thing is, it dims on and then off. And when the headlights are off, the lights for the odo, temp and time are visible, but when you turn on the headlights (and thus the interior lights) the dash dims quickly to dark until you cant see anything
last night a cop was following me closely and I had no idea hoe fast I was going so I had to crawl to make sure I was under the speed limit, since i couldnt see the speedo

New development...
I found out that this only happens when it's dark. When it's bright out, the odo, temp and time are all dimmed, then when i pull out of the garage, it brightens back up. I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me but i confirmed that it was the actual dash lighting up and dimming, not the sun hitting it or anything like that.
