It is not a button issue, it is a volume issue.

Get a small pocket flat screwdriver and insert it between the button and the body of the radio and pry upwards then move on to the next position and so on. The button comes off. Then turn the pin and you will see that the pin just spins without clicks.

Hi, and then what? I have a same problem. If the volume button spins without clicks it means its stuffed and the whole radio needs to be replaced? Please if you have a knowledge do share it. Thank you.

What I would do is pry off the button using two flat tipped pocket screw drivers. Then manually spin the pin and see if it clicks.
