Hi:
As i read you i think we can have same problems, we have written about it here:
https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w...63-2002-a.html
But now not a lucky day.
I have purchased a new MAF, due tu malfunction, but i have read many things like:
Observe/replace:
-Spark wires
-O2 sensor
-Fuel pump
-MAF sensor
-many others...

Sean,
Start with the easy steps first.
Disassemble and Clean the MAF with CRC Cleaner.
Mileage on this suv?

MAF has nothing to do with misfires. A faulty MAF will set its own code/s.
