Xenon headlight not working after new bulb

I'm new with this and trying to find out what's wrong with my low beam D2S 35W xenon lamp. It turns out I have halogen low beams on the driver side headlight, and xenon low beams on the passenger side headlight.
Anyway, the xenon stopped working so I installed a new bulb, but it's still not coming on. I've been googling and youtubing and came across something called the ballast. Where would I find the ballast on a 2003 facelift W163, please? Other than that, any tips on what might be the problem?

Lol. Mate.

Who told you you need a xenon bulb?
In the spirit of Halloween. Someone tricked you mate! 👻🎃

You have halogen bulbs. Return the xenon bulb as it will never work with your car and buy a set of replacement halogen bulbs.

The old bulb that was in the lamp was an OSRAM XENON bulb and it was working until it wasn't. But thank you for your condescending snark, it's really solved this problem for me.

There's far too many trolls on this forum. Every other thread it's one of this kindergarten-level teeheeheeheehee-you-suck. How useless. Often one digs through a lot of bs before one finds useful information here.

In all seriousness. It's more likely you are the troll.

It is impossible for you to have from the factory an osram d2s bulb in one headlight and a halogen bulb in the other.

You either have h7 low beams or d2s low beams. That's it.

I'm not sure what you stand to gain from hurling baseless insults at people who are merely trying to help, but I sincerely wish you the best in sorting it out on your own.

I have an idea why your bulbs might be as such ; considering you are a w163 owner and you are asking questions on the forum.

Instead, your entitled line of questions and whinging is more suited at the desk of your local mercedes Benz dealers' service advisor.

Be sure to smile when you are asked to bend over.
