Changed alternator after buying new battery and now it has no power
changed my battery then the next day apprantly was using strictly battery and the battery must've died, so I changed the Alternator and don't know what's happening now because the battery won't charge now and the cables are just getting hot. The wires in the back of the Alternator might be the issue because I'm not sure how they were supposed to be attached to the bolt on the Alternator there where 2 bolts but on the old alternator they were both on the same one not sure what to do next...

You bought the wrong alternator. Immediately remove the battery ground cable until the issue is solved.
