2012 ML350 Bluetooth Audio Integration
I use the iPod media interface cable to connect my iPhone in my 2012 ML350.
Recently, I was in a Toyota rental and paired my phone so that I can have Bluetooth audio. What surprised me as the full integration via Bluetooth (i.e., playlists, song listing, artists, etc.). It's as if I were using a media interface cable.
In my ML350, on the other hand, when I do Bluetooth interface, it's completely bare-bones and just streams whatever I have playing on my iPhone. No other functionality.
Is there some sort of upgrade of the entertainment system that is possible to provide full functionality like in the Toyota rental? Or am I stuck with that bare-bones functionality?
Thanks!
