ML270 cdi W163
central locking problem
I have W163 '01 ML270cdi. remote key is not working, I have replaced the batteries and tried the 're-sync' routine as specified, still not working.
The key starts the engine and everything else seems OK. The one recent problem was the alarm siren would not stop and is disconnected.
I can lock the doors via the centre console button and unlock with the key in the door.
I can find NO other faults and am suspicious of the relays.
Any help gratefully received. Many thanks.
