When you say "non-US models", I presume they are still DOT approved.

I recall seeing that tire size for MLs on a UK website awhile back. I'll look for it on my bookmarks.

I believe my information IS correct. If you go to any tire retailer website in England, Spain, Germany, or other European country, the original tire size for W163 is listed as 225/75 R16 (here is one example; https://www.oponeo.ie/tyre-finder/s=...r=1/225-75-r16 ). So my question is; will the U.S. model wheels accommodate that size? Or are my 8" wide wheels too wide for a tire that was originally intended for a 6.5" wide wheel?
