Smile How can I fully change my '00 to look like an '04 model

Hi there!......Well......we have an ML320 (year 2000). I was just wondering on how to make it look JUST LIKE the 04 Special Edition Models (Exterior Only)......

Has anyone done this before, I mean, making it look brand new with a new paint job that looks exactly like an 04 Special Edition Model.....

PS..Headlights are OK if they are not xenon....

How much will this cost?
How long will this might take?

Is it possible?

THANKS!!!!!!!

Yea, I thought of buying a new car (perferrably an Ml350 using there summer event special)......but as it turns out, I am over the milage by 32,000 miles!!!!

They came over and said that there was a bulls-eye in the windshield and they needed $900 dollars to replace that

So as it turns out........the milage costs are totaling up to $8000+900 for the windshield, and like another $4000 are needed for a new car (down payment, registration, title....)

So yea, if i was to turn this beauty in and get a newer ML, i need about $13000 dollars, which i dont have....lol...So i extended the lease...had no choice!!

So is there anyway I can do the remodeling and refaceing....I have 73,000 miles on the car, and it runs GREAT!!...No problems...I just want to make it look newer and make it fit in with the newer ml's...

Whats the price, and an estimate on how much it would cost for exterior only.

Thanks

To do what you want it will cost you more than the number you mentioned for the new one. Your over mileage problem will be with you even with the extension. Your only way out of that will be to buy the ML at the lease residual. Your extension is only delaying the problem and perhaps exacerbating it.

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
front bumper, rear bumper, headlights, tailights, grill, rear hatch filler panel, wheels...done. se... side steps, chrome roof racks, wheels, hood, grill, taillights, done.

cost, about 4k to 5.5k.

Exactly. That is, unless you intend to park it until the end of the new lease term. If you want to stop hemorrhaging cash, buy it.

yea dude, you should definitely buy the vehicle and finance the lease payoff number. Once you do that you can try selling the vehicle on your own. Have you asked the dealer to give you a trade in value on your car and compare it to the lease pay off? I bet that if you approach it that way you will pay much less than $8k. I did this with a honda civic and lexus IS300 and actually came out AHEAD on the IS300 when I ended the lease 12 months early!

Dont forget the chrome strip on the door handles and the special edition or final edition stickers on the front body side molding. Just thought I would add that in. Autogunner.
