Help...need to buy a Catalytic Converter for 99 ML 430

Hi Folks....

My 1999 ML 430 which has 125,000 miles (almost) needs a new Catalytic Converter I went to the dealer just for the left side it will cost about $2500...

Any 1 know where to get re-manufactured or have a sale or something going on.....

I had my mechanic weld my catalytic convertor. The welds were cracked all the way around. Now the are good as new

Ric,

Read these threads. I had the same problem. Apparently it's quite common. You can fix it yourself. I did everything except the TIG welding which I had done for $30. My dealer said they would charge me $2400; what a joke.
