I’ve verified the code at two dealers, but can’t seem to find anything by searching about the code entry procedure. Radio flashes CODE, C flashing. I enter all 5 digits and the first number flashes. Can’t figure what to push to verify the code. I tried SCAN, MODE, power button, SEL, WB. I surrender. Help!
No. I don’t have a SEEK button, and the SCAN button just sends me back to either flashing CODE or the dreaded WAIT
seek or scan button are the same thing/function.

For the 2nd link I provided, you've read the entire procedure - It may have locked you out for a time period depending on how many attempts you have tried.
The real kicker is that I have an identical head unit that was working. After a battery disconnect neither head unit will take its respective code. I now have two Bose head units, neither of which will take the code I was given for it.

You may need to keep the din unit connected for power until it cycles thru the time protection and then try the radio code again.
Prior to this problem, did you ever disconnect the battery?

I have, but my son lost that code. I’ve now called 5 different MB service departments and have been given 5 different codes for the serial number on the head unit.
