Electric Fan won't shut off even when the car is off? Had to disconnect the battery
HI Everyone,
My dad's 2001 ML320 is having an electric fan(s) issue. There are two small fans that will not shut off even when the car is shut off. I had to disconnect the battery in order for the fans to stop running.
Does anybody know what would cause this and what would be the fix?
The attached picture are the electric fans that I am talking about.
You should have not disconnected the battery. The fan running after shut down, means that there is possibility that there is over heating and the fans will run until the coolant temp. comes down to an accentual level.
