2003 Mercedes Benz ML320 - 2000 Mercedes SLK
Tire question - your opinion might help
I have a 2003 ML320
My current tires on factory rims are Firestone Destination LE2 (265/65/17)
It's winter time and it's time to do winter tire shopping.
My sister drives a 2010 GLK and she's trading it in for a new GLE
She has another set of GLK rims with 225/65/17 winter tires and she's giving them to me.
My question - your opinion, could I use her rims and tires on my ML320 (RIMS fit no problem - bolt pattern, center bore and offset are fine)
Main concern are the tires - too skinny which is perfect for winter but I'm thinking safety wise as my ML is much heavier.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks in advance

MBWorld Fanatic!
225-235s for winter driving in TO is fine.
Some members have commented that the wider tires (255+) in east coast winter driving were not so good.

I'm just hoping it doesn't put a lot of stress on the tires since my truck is almost 5000lbs.
