trade or in?

what do you guys think... trade in my 2000 ml 320 to the dealer for $17k... silver with grey interior. 41k miles, excellent condition, nav, etc. they are letting me keep my mods... which means they would be up for sale... chip, brabus exhaust, flares, 04 headlights, xenons, brabus mono IV 18, brabus mono VI22", a bunch of other brabus stuff. opinions please.

It doesn't really help too much to know what they are giving you for trade. Relevant facts would include what you are looking at buying and the asking price of the new vehicle. Trade-in numbers are as arbitrary as the deal in which they are involved. The bottom line is the only important number in a dealer auto purchase. If you could supply the make, model, year and price of the vehicle you are looking to purchase, that would help a lot.

Most of your mods decrease the value of the car. Dealer's want standard as new vehicles to resell.

i am contemplating selling my c32 for the top three.

option one: 2004 clk55 amg, new, black on black, comand, xenons... $69K
option two: c55 amg, silver, no comand, no xenons... $57k
option three: 2004 cl500, silver special price... $81k
option four: g35 coupe... and mod it to the max... maybe $60k

$27K in options on the G35 Coupe??? Are you nuts? The car is only 29K to begin with. How in the world could you justify options equal (just about) to the MSRP? I don't even think they have that many options. And that is if you pay sticker.

Besides, nothing compares (non-MB) to the list of MB's you have as your choices. Take the CLK55 and enjoy

That is one sweet ride!

haha, i guess youve never seen one with a t88 turbine with custom port and polish, and blueprinting, nice set of wheels, veilside kit (if they have one), custom exhaust, etc. i have luxury cars, i want one to beat on. but you are right, the clk is pretty appealing, especially at the discount im getting it for.

oh, and the g35 coupe stripped is 30k.

Holy crap! That would be a beast. But.....I would still take the CLK55. It is on sweet ride. My dad's wife has a CLK500 and that is a monster....I can't imagine what the 55 would be like.
