Sirius Satellite radio for 2003 ML55??

I have a question.... I understand that most 2004 and newer models are prewired for the Sirius satellite radio, but is the dealer able to install it on an '03 ML55, even though it's not prewired??thanks!

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
why would you want the dealer to do it? any aftermarket stereo shop can do it.

It could theoretically be added, but you would need a new head unit and the hard to obtain wiring. Easier and far cheaper to install aftermarket unit!

ok thanks! if it were installed by the dealer, it would be integrated into the head unit(comand) vs. aftermarket would be a separate control unit, right?

meant MCS, im pretty sure saturnstyle knows what I meant anyways...PS-the comand system is pretty much a different name for MCS, and MCS is just pretty much a different name for the comand system, they are both the exact same thing in the actions they perform(even though mercedes doesnt interchange the two names)

if they look different, and the menus are different, how are they the same?

if there is a mercedes and a daewoo... they both look different, they have different options, they perform the same action... are they the same to?

Again, theoretically its possible, but cost prohibitive to say the least. You MUST get a new MCS unit, yours WILL NOT work, it does not have the SAT button on it. I say go with aftermarket stuff, at least then you could stick the antenna wherever you wanted.
