Low range +ABS, bas, esp, ets
Dear seniors,
I am a newbie🙏. Past 1 year my abs, esp n ets sign have been goes on and off several times, each time i found some loose connections, tightened them and problem fix. But recently, they are on again, followed by Low range light. Last month I found a cable that was cut near by the trans case motor, reconnect it and the low gear light off.
It was totally fine for 3 days then After that each time I start the car, low gear ligh is on (car will be in low gear, around 50% low) for some times (2 to 20 minutes) then it will be off and car will be normal again.
But last 10 days, low gear is always on. My car run on low gear [50% low, some times 75% low]. I had a mechanic to scan it, he says there is no communication to trans case module. After he check the connections from front fuse and cables, he said the trans case module is bad
I want to focus in fixing the low gear problem first.
is the trans case module seems to be the cause? Since it never gone 100% on low gear and I read other thread before that it is hardly gone bad. Since there is no resources for spare part in my place. is very difficult to get the module.
What is the other possibilities I should check?
