Kompressed ML430. At 80 MPH I'm only at 2750 RPMS. I have 430 BHP. Governor/limiter is disabled. I'm a little scared above 110 MPH even at night when no one's on the road[too many freakin' curves on the Illinois roadways. The coef drag is pretty damn good for a truck/SUV. It will do 125 no problem--but the tires are quite unhappy and loud and the cowl and dash shake too much. ML350 will do over 100 also but quite shaky to say the least...

MY 2002 ML320
I drove to SC last week and I had it up to 110 mph. I had some vibration at 80 mph which I well get the dealer to check it out, but was smooth at 110 mph. I drove about 90 mph most of the way.

Coming back from LA this past weekend I was doing 120 and the wife (and the other couple in the car) thought I was doing about 80! Rode as smooth as a car and no tire or road noise. Very impressed. Quite stable as well. Bit of a scare though when we went through a dust devil.

When I was in the U.S. I could barely reach 110 because the roads didn't allow it, and if they did, the cop would be waiting for you and you don't want to risk it. Over here, I reached 125MPH and a lil over that, before I said to myself, thats enough. I'm impressed by the handling of the car at that speed, better than I had expected.
