ML270 CDI 2003 advice and shared parts
Hello, first post here, nice forum!
I would like to buy a 2003 ML 270 CDI that someone in my city is selling, so I'm reading all that I can find about this model.
Some months ago I was reading about the ML 320, and ML 230, too.
I'm writing here to be enlighten about shared parts of the 270 CDI with the ML320.
I ask that cause to buy parts for us from USA is easy, lower taxes etc, and I see lot of parts for the ML320 online and on fleabay.
Is just the engine, transmission and clocks that are different between this two models?
The 270 I'm talking about has 310000 km, and seems that the most delicate part at this "age" is the transmission.
This transmission is used in other models ? ( to find parts, or a used one, if it brokes).
I like to diy, lot of mechanical things.

Hi Maj, yes i think so.
this is why i'm asking, cause despite the engine and transmission, if the 270CDI is the same car as a ML320, i have plenty of parts in the USA
