BAS/ESP, ABS and parking brake warning light.
Here we go again
2004 ML 270 CDI, automatic.
BAS/ESP light on, ABS light is on. Brake waring light(parking brake light) is on, and car stuck in park. (no ETC light and cc still works and that eliminates speed censors i belive).
Brake light works (i believe the brake contact on the pedal then is OK)
I am using Icarsoft MB scanner and I can`t access BAS- or ESP modules for some reason (did before when checking ABS sensors).
Only error message is in the ESM- Elektroninic selector module showing code P1925 - Drive authorization has been refused by control module N15/5 (ESM/EMW) Current and Stored. Can delete it, but turns up again at the same time (by reading again.)
All breakes are relatively new, no breakage in wirings to the ESP module on the ABS pump and the contact is dry and fine. The ABS pump engine is changed.
I can drive the car by unlocking the gearbox, but there is a high beeping due to the brake light warning that make driving a pain in the b...
I disconected the battery and charged over night to eliminate low voltage beeing the problem. Did not change anyting..
What to do? (I have contacted workshop and will get a scan with Star on monday)

Turn the key to the on position and follow instructions. Shift to N to start eng.
Why don't you have codes in ESP/BAS modules?

I`m a bit emarrased about it actually because it turned out to be bad contakt on 2 of the fuses.
Number 13 and 27. The fuses seemed OK, but the contact was bad. This is also why I could not read data from the BAS/ESP module. I did inspect all the fuses, but did not test if the contact was bad.
Anyway, using the STAR scanner the mechanic at the MB dealer fixed this for me.
So now I am a happy w163 owner once agian......as I suspected some bad modules and a lot of work :-)
