Help on storage bin.

I was able to acquire a storage bin that suppose to go under the front passenger seat, but when I tried to test fit the bin, there is a black rectangular box underneath the seat. What is it?

That would be your sub-woofer for your Bose system. To check, turn radio/CD on, select some tunes with lots of base and get down close to the "box". You can hear and "feel" the sound production.

sounds like the tele aid module.

Do they come standard with the car even if you don't have the teleaid service activated. Well, I guess so, because you can activate it just by calling. Can it be relocated? The original owner of the bin is my friend and he doesn't have that box in his ML but he's got the teleaid service.
