2004 W163 Bumper (front) to bracket bolts (no round fog lights no brush guard)
I found after I purchased my 2004 W163 ML350, no parktronic, no brush guard, no round fog lamps,
That it had been in a small front accident. Whoever took the front bumper off (small cracks in it reused) did not replace all the bolts to secure the bumper correctly. I have the diagrams for the bumper assembly and parts but it is confusing as too which ones I need. As well they didn't replace the exterior temp sensor in the correct place it just hangs freely.
If anyone has an understanding of what bolts are required to secure the bumper correctly it would be a great help. It looks like there are 4 down below the grill (2 center and 1 each on outside front. Then one on each side that goes straight up at the corner of bumper quarter panel junction. Also where I replace the temp sensor.
I think I need 2 ea #56 for the spoilers (1638851325 and 1425 spoilers) , 2ea x #59 1639900136 (straight up), and 4ea x #216 1639900504 (front center and outside). But I am not sure if I have the correct parts.
