'01 and '02 ML fuel gauge accuracy
Just got this bulletin for '01 and '02 ML's that a wrong fuel gauge reading can be caused by filling the tank with more than 1/2 tank of fuel still remaining. This can result in the fuel gauge showing an empty tank even with a full load of fuel on board. So, if you own a 2001 or 2002 ML, don't fill the tank if you still have over a half tank remaining.

I have done this on my 02 ML500 and never had a problem. Just today I filled up for a trip tomorrow and had between 1/2 and 3/4 full before I fueled. Is this happening to all of them??

Thanks!! That seems to be the only ML problem I do not have. I am still waiting for the window fix and the brake fix that I was promised last November. Do you have any word on the avaiability of these??
