what are the restrictions while in low range??
Just curious, what are the restrictions once in Low Range mode,if any? can you give it full throttle and run the engine to the redline without damaging anything? The only restriction I know of is that the RPM's have to be under 1500 when engaging it in neutral, and the car has to be fully stopped....thanks
PS- the only restriction stated in the owners manual is the one i mentioned

Well it won't be very fast to say the least -- so punching the throttle won't do very much speed-wise. If I recall, the ML can go up to 40MPH in low range - most SUV's do about 20MPH max if they have a low range.

Thanks,I was just wondering, I had some fun with it today anyways. I put it in low range, kept it in first gear and floored it from a stop because it's kinda fun to see the engine rev to the redline so quickly, even though you're only going like 20 MPH in first. I got it to about 35 MPH in Low Range, could have gone about 50 MPH but didn't want to keep the revs up for too long,so I decided to take it out of low range and just floor it then, much more fun....
