No interior/exterior lights after belt replacement
My mom took her 2011 ML350 to a small shop that replaced her squealing belt. Noise was fixed and she drove it home with no issues…..she thought. Went to start the car at night and realized she has no headlights, interior lights, tail lights or brake lights. She does have the radio still.
Anyone experience this? I couldn’t find anything on the same issue but seems possible that some rear SAM fuses were blown?!? Is this a way to ensure you HAVE to have ALL maintenance done at the dealer 😞

There is absolutely no way that replacing a serpentine belt should result in exterior and interior light failure. It’s a 30 minute job that is a difficulty of 1/5. There are no Mercedes quirks in that process.
Take it back to the shop with your best angry face on.
FYI—2011 ML350 is a W164 and this is the W163 (1998-2005) forum. You may get better troubleshooting suggestions by posting it there.
