Rud German-made “Grip 4x4” tire chains #01 142. 2 sets of 2 each (chains should always be used on all wheels). Brand New in carrying bags. TUV-approved, modified diamond pattern w/ 5mm square-shaped links, reversible. Super easy to put on. Perfect for ML w/ stock 255/65-16, or w/ 245/70-16 snows. Also fits 255/55-18. I have a set of 4 of the same chains too and if anyone needs a recommendation. I'd say buy them right away.

I thought it is illegal to use these chains on city streets and highways (at least in Michigan and Illinois). Unless, you are planning on using in remote areas...
The reason [for illegal to use chains] is that these chains damage roads. I am not agreeing/disagreeing with the law.

Laws vary by state. In Oregon, chains are sometimes required. This is primarily in the mountains. You never want to use chains on bare pavement because you lose traction. These are perfect for snow enthusiasts or when winter off-roading (or mud) is necessary.
