DIY Brakes....Prep needed?

The brakes are pretty simple and straightforward but my only question is do I need to do any kind of prep to the new pads BEFORE inserting them? I have a pretty extensive DIY that somebody posted here a while back and they talked about an anti-squeal spray. Not sure I follow. Any reccomentdations, etc.?

Cheers,
Dell

I guess it'd be a good idea to put the anti-sqeal spray/paste... I didn't do it, and only one is squaling.. other 3 are fine....

I've never used it on MB brakes, but if your useing aftermarket pads then I would recomend it.
