Skyview tops are a problem, and will allways be a problem due to the design. Those that have not had problems will have problems. They are quite complicated and should be dealt with by a dealer. But do not be surprised that after its fixed it will break again

Make sure when you put the motor back that it is aligned
with the tracks. If not you will hear the clicking sound. The clicking sound is basically the rotor trying to get some traction.
Is the motor worned out?
