ML 55 AMG BAS/ESP Light Problem

Hello,

I'm new into MB world and also into MB cars, I've been learning to use WIS to read al offical data from MB.

Last week I bought an ML 55 AMG, was quite cheap with some problems and lots of KM (350K).

I've solved almost all problems but when i buyed it ESP/BAS light was turned on, I wasn't able to diagnose the car until today that I recieved icarsoft mb v2.0.

The problem that I found now is that I'm not able to comunicate with ESP Module Control, but I can comunicate to BAS Module Control and I'm bit confused because it's supossed to be the same ECU? Or at least they are on the same place?. Also ABS and other lights are off, and I didn't found any error code stored related to ESP problem.

I've been reading severals posts here about this topic, but normally people can't comunicate with BAS and also ESP ECU.

That's why I'm bit confused, it is posible that ESP ECU is dead en BAS ECU is working? In electric schematics I see that comunication between Instruments Cluster and ESP ECU/BAS ECU is via CAN BUS it uses same line. So I assume that if I can connect to BAS ECU cables are ok?.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Appreciated.

Whenever there is a light on the Instrument Cluster, and you made a repair, you must delete the code stored, which you do not know.

And that means you need a scanner that can read M/B codes.

Hello,

Yes I know, I deleted all stored codes, except for ESP ECU because I'm not able to acces it.

That's why am confused, becase i can enter and delete codes stored on BAS ECU, but not on ESP ECU.
