Removing the oil filter

I'm doing my first oil change with the Mity Vac/topsider. I was all ready to go and could not get the oil filter cover off. What do I need to use to get this off??? My chanel locks aren't big enough. Thanks.

Oil filter socket Hazet-2169 or 103 589 00 09 00 or equivalent available at most auto parts stores. I got mine at Wal*Mart.

Because while I have it, I will find everything wrong with it and give you an estimate to fix it! I will find stuff you didn't even know you had.... Its more than just an oil change, its a complete inspection to let you know of any problems or potential problems, some things you just wouldn't know to look for otherwise.

Since the warranty ran out, I do it myself. But rather than the pump to suck the oil out I use one of these http://www.fumotovalve.com/ with a nipple on it and run a hose to the drain pan. Easy job and I know its done right. I still go to the dealer for the brake & radiatior flush, brake pads etc. Probably let them drain & replace the transmission fluid next year.
