Two warning lamps

I have a question. Two warning lamps, the ETS (which is 4wd) and the BAS/ESP warning lamps came on our ML the other day. We have not driven it since. I looked in the owners manual and it does not really say much of what these lamps mean and whether or not we can still drive it.

Does anyone here know? Also the ML is in Northern Virginia now and we do not know any good dealerships in the region to take it to get fixed. The car is located in Arlington and the ASC MB dealership is nearby but I think I have heard many negative things about that dealership.

Any help with the warning lamps and a dealership referal would be great.

Thanks

I forgot to add that the orange triangle in the middle of the spedometer is *not* lit up.

I did. Thank you both posters who answered my question.

It's safe to assume I can drive it in the meantime?

Also if anyone has any recommendations for a dealership in Northern VA near Arlington, thanks.
