2001 ML: Upgrading Headlights - Projector or xenon
I managed to get both a set of projector headlights from a later model, and, from a 2005 ML a set of xenon headlights.
Any advice or opinions or experience favoring re-fitting to one or the other of those from my stock units?
For the projector, those seem simple enough to just re-pin the connectors.
For the xenon, I have not found a good source of info on exactly how to 're-wire' for it considering difference in Model Year, and there is the absence of self-leveling capability.
Is the difference in the halogen and the xenon significant?
Or, should I instead keep looking for a set of OEM xenon for the 2001 Model Year?
