I think the front looks pretty good but the back is ugly. Too much X3 going on.

look much more closely!

after close observation, judging from the pictures on 'autoweek', every panel of the test car appears to be thickly padded to disguise the real shape of the coming x5.
so there's still hope ..but let's just hope that it'll be nothing like the x3!!

and a 7seat option will make it as competitive as all the other great new germanic/northern european suv's. and if it drives better than the current one - good god, it'l feel like heaven! except for when stuck in the mud, since it'll remain more on- than off-road, but i guess that's the best compromise between agility, size, weight, mileage, etc.!!
