wow, it looks 10x better than the W163(especially interior) but why did they have to make the tailights looks like a squarer version of the jeep liberty/dodge durango??

I like everything about the design except the fact the gear shifter is on the steering now.

I'm not showing her these pics, she might want this one instead.

Check and adjust tire pressures, and drive the thing till the crappy tires lose the flat spots from sitting.
You have no idea of the pure hell we endure whenever a new model is released. It gets worse every time too. The 211 was and still is a complete nightmare. As long as it took to perfect the 163, they owe it to us to keep it around a bit longer!

LOL. The 211 tough?! Nah, can't be. Did you hear about the E55 that keeps shutting off! Yes, I think you have! Yeah, there is no way i'm getting another 1st year MB. The 163 will have to do. Hopefully will finalize this weekend. Thanks for the tips on the tires. So, MB puts crappy tires on the ML, not just the E55?

Mercedes are VERY senstive to tires. Ever drive a 140? That thing will break your arms if it has an out of balance front tire! We find michelins to be outstanding on all models, but they cost a small fortune, and in the case of my ML, don't offer what I really want in my size.
Most performance tires will readily develop flat spots when left sitting for any length of time. Mine will vibrate until they are warm, and its much worse if its been sitting any longer than 12 hours. I may end up with the cross terrains after all, but I wish they had something else. Gotta step up to an 18" to get what I am after, but that is mega bucks.

Thanks for posting the pics. Not too much of a departure from W163. I was expecting it to be more like the GST.

I suppose this is the short wheelbase version since no 3rd-row seat is available ?
