W163 Diesel engine misfires
Hello all,
My truck is 2002 ML270CDI (RHD). (Diesel) 166Klms
While general driving, engine starts to jerk and misfire. And when I get to traffic lights and waiting for Green, engine sometimes cuts out completely. So restart procedure takes place,
When I restart, black smoke discharge, and engine starts OK and I then travel about 5-10 Klms and engine starts the jerking again.
I use Liquid Molly every 3rd time I add 40 litres of fuel in the tank - about once a month.
Starts OK when cold. - no delay so injectors pressure seems OK.
I am thinking EGR needs a clean out (have the liquid Molly pressure pack on hand to use on EGR)
Or Bad injector?
