w163 ml320
I have a w163 ml320 which dose not start .So i am seeking some urgent help .
My question is relay k8 pins 85 and 86 i am getting the following readings
ignition position 2- 0v
ignition position 3- 3.5v
relay k12 has got 12v on ignition position 2 and 3
If i shorten k8 pins it turns over
ignition barrel ok
immobiliser ok going by the blinks of led
My question is what controls that voltage being sent ?
Is it the aam ?
Dose it have a fuse or a relay?
Does it need to be reprogrammed if i install another one ?
I look forward to the knowledge being shared thank you

In a W163 ML320, key position 3 (the cranking or starting position) should provide battery positive voltage (B+) at specific pins within the K12 relay socket under the hood. Pin 1 of the K12 relay socket should receive this B+ voltage from the ignition switch when the key is in the crank position. Additionally, Pin 3 should receive constant B+.
