Issue --- Fast blinking side repeaters and no rear PDC
Hi everyone,
My 2005 ML 270 Final Edition has recently developed a strange issue. The side repeaters flash rapidly when activated, as if signaling a burnt-out bulb—yet all bulbs are functioning properly. Simultaneously, I've lost the rear Park Distance Control (Parktronic).
Does anyone have any insight into how these two issues might be connected? Where should I start troubleshooting?

I had dealt with this issue..and blinkers at times stopping to work..(erratic blinkers)...for 10 long. years between 2010 & 2020...replacing countless bulbs and expensive relays...in the hope, the problem will somehow go away...in 2020, car developed some other intermittent electrical issues...some of them fatal, like ECU shutting down...it had to be then checked into a shop that specializes in car Electricals..
The genius mechanic...spent 3 days on my ML checking each electrical circuit to isolate fault...he ultimately concluded, the fuse panel had gone bad....it was not any localized problem...the entire car was being fed with somewhat fluctuating and lowering voltage...cause, ECU, TCU, BAS, ETS, ESP, headlights, blinkers...every electrical system to malfunction intermittently.
We decided to replace with a salvage fuse panel, because Bosch does not make the w163 fuse panels anymore....
Fuse panel replaced...all electrical gremlins gone - every single one of them. No problem with car since 2020.
Just sharing my story with the blinkers...
