Hi all; when I reset the *** gas mileage, it goes to around 16.6. and doesn't move with hard acceleration. in other cars that i own, when you reset the *** gas mileage, it will fluctuate vastly until you have a great deal of mileage logged. is this normal. the dealer says yes. 2005 ML500. thnks

 

It's not normal. Mine starts at 12.6

 

There is really no telling. Give it time to adjust. There are many different software versions out there for trip computers, it took benz years to get that thing ironed out.
