Question Will a full size spare (ML500) fit in the space saver cradle?

Anyone know if this is the case? I would like to have a full sized spare but I need all the boot (trunk) space for my tool boxes when I am doing on-site service work. I had a look at the full sized spare carrier but I think it looks like it belongs on Mahindi not a Mercedes!

Cheers and hope everyone is having a good new year already.

Perhaps one of them canadian external spare tire mounts would do the trick?
When all else fails, put it on the roof rack and go for the safari look.
