After Market Hid For Ml
has any one done after-market HID on their ML? i heard from some that the dealer has to set the lights on HID mode or else lights will flicker.are HID plug and play or a no-go,because i daubt the dealer ship will set my computer for HID,since its not OEM.

i plan on using plug and play HID made by phillips.. i heard that mL headlights will cause it to flicker if not set on HID mode..i have 03'mL.any one have done any HID upgrades please give ur 2 cents

hey man what kinda kit are you using... I have helped on a few HID installs... If you want some assistance PM me and maybe we can make a little MB world GTG out of it There are a few of us in the boston area...

8000k's... next time search the forum, as for my HIDs, I had the same problem, i didnt have factory xenons instead i hooked my HIDs to my city lights and problem solved. No flickering and no visit to the stealership.

Hey Vik... I notice your from NYC/NJ but you go to D2 Motorsports... D2 is in Worcester, Mass isnt it? Why the long trek for parts?

I wanna do HIDs for my fog lights... I gotta change out the fog lense though... it got water in it at one point and all the shiny metal on the inside peeled off from the fixture

ViKTORiOUS- Is there any chance you could take a picture of how your HID bulbs are mounted? I would only need to see a picture with the rear cover off and the HID Bulb installed on the passenger side. Any picture like that would be greatly appreciated!
