Help with New Headlights, Please!!!

My wife has a 2000 ML320 and I got her these new MB Headlights (Clear)

Ebay auction Item number: 7945408199

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7945408199

NO ADAPTOR NEEDED, "JUST PLUG IN AND PLAY"

It does not seem that way, because they have different backs, I think the exterior is the same but I am not sure about the bulbs and housings.

Can anyone tell me if I need anything to make this work. Also what size are the ML lights so I can change them for Xenon colored bulbs in these clear housings?

Thanks for any instructions on how to do the change, as well.

Thanks Again for all help.

Love Mercedes and if I had the $$ I would go for the E55 AMG, but instead I have to settle with my lowly Audi 4.2 V8.

2nd Question? While I have them in the box, Can you open them and take out the amber lens and use a Silverstar bulb for a total clear look? How hard is that, I did it on my Audi, very cool.

I bought a set from this guy and they worked out great. I have a 2000 ML430 and they were perfect plug and play. Remove old ones plug in the new ones and you are ready to go. I did them both in about 30 minutes. FYI,,,,,these lights that he sells are direct plug and play unlike some that you have to get adaptors for. Very easy install. What exactly are you having problems with?

Sorry I can't answer your questions about the amber lens. I have no desire to change mine to clear so I never inquired.

Thanks, it is just the backs looked very different, so I asked. Is there a trick to getting the headlights out?

Each light has 3 nuts that need to be removed also there is a tab as well that helps the light "snap" into place. Also, remove the thin strip of metal (about an inch tall and runs the length of the light) so the lights come out easily. It just unhooks on the grill side of the strip and pivots out toward the side fender so you can remove it.
