Some New Goodies: Pics!

Well... Since the ML forum is a little dead, I thought I'd post up pics of some little mods that I have under my sleeve.

Of course, here she is in winter mode: NJ snow kills me... 8000k HIDs, Nokya 7000k Arctic White Fogs, 15% Tint, and others, too much to list.

Integrated iPod hookup from Blitzsafe -- takes over as my CD changer...
Damn I need a wood wheel and my radar detector hardwired!!

Teaser pic of my new audio set up in the trunk... I'll keep you posted!

And of course, I gotta represent the car club!!

The kit from Blitzsafe costed me $325.00 and this only works with MY01+ models with the fiberoptic audio interfaces, this basically uses the ports of the CD changer and converts it into an AUX input for an iPod or anyother MP3 player, though you lose your CD Changer, its well worth it...

I paid 325.00 and 2 hours of labor... which totalled 445.00 plus taxes etc. It was well worth it, now I have over 1,000 songs at my disposal and no need to run to the trunk everytime I want to change a CD in the changer. Blitzsafe and Dension ICE are the only known companies that I know of that do this conversion, however if you do this, make sure you go to a reputable installer, because this isn't a simple install. I am very very very happy and I suggest this to everyone!

I have a late build 2000 ML430 and this is exactly what I am looking for. Guess I missed out by about 4 or 5 months. RATS!

Thanks for the info though.
