Using edmunds.com as a guide, it seems that many of the Ebay M-class vehicles are selling for thousands of dollars less than I expected...yet others seem to go quite high. Example- a local non-MB dealer had a 2002 ML500, no 3rd seat on their lot with 51k miles for $29k. I went by to check on it and it was already sold. Last month I was looking at an ebay 2002 ML55 that went for $31k buy-it-now with much lower miles AND a Starmark warranty through July 2007. Why such a large discrepancy?

Please post up your recent trade, sale, or purchase experiences- whether you were able to make a great deal, got a big trade allowance, etc. and why. I haven't been able to figure this out yet....
