Alarm Beep/Chirp
I did search and never found any true answers so.........
Has anyone made their alarm beep or chirp? I was wondering if you just have to get the settings changed. My Alarm in my 03 C230 did not beep when I got it, but I took it in and had the Settings changed.
To make the C Class Chirp
At the dealer, using the MB factory handheld laptop tester, go into the car's computer system.
Go into Programs
Locate the Rear SAM Program
Locate Body
Select Netherlands
Now the car does a "chirp, chirp, chirp" when locking/arming and a single chirp when unlocking/disarming.
I wonder if it is the same with the ML, If nobody has tried it, I will be taking the ML 55 in to get a service in 1000 miles and will have this checked. I will update as soon as I test it.
