I have a 2000 ml430 and would like auto headlights and have the voice recognition reciver built in, my question is if i replace the whole combination switch from a 2002-newer ml, will it fit and will i get those features?

 

I believe the made a major redesign with the introduction of the ML500 2002. Given that, even if the combination switch is a direct drop in, I doubt the electronics will be as easy. As far as the voice recognition receiver, it doesn't exist on the ML500. Do you have it on the 430 or is this something you want custom made? If you really have to do this, my advice is to spend as little on as possible - get parts from a wrecked Ml and try. I have a connection to wrecked MLs if you're interested, PM me.
