I just watched the video...and I gotta wonder...what the heck to these 16-22 yr olds do for income to afford to spend $50K on a Honda, or $80K on a show Bimmer or Benz. I'm all about making good money...but my goodness!

Or can parents really be convinced to support such a hobby?

One last thought...90% of these owners are lying when they say, "look what I did to my car.." They didn't do squat. They just wrote the check. And took the credit.

about the wood trim you added,
is it the kind you paste on with the 3m tape?
I bought that trim, but I did not like how it looked.
I had a problem where it did not match very well in the light.
Do you have pics of your trim?
I got it for $180, that was pretty much the entire dashboard.

The wood trim in the air vents, cup holder and surround...etc are the kind you stick on. I got it on ebay for about the same price. I am dissapointed with the color too. I will be changing the wood trim to aluminum or possibly carbon fiber.

 

Aluminum (brushed) looks really nice!

 

I see this all the time and always laugh, especially Civic owners who mount TVs in the hatch/trunk.

The motorized LCD panel, awesome! the TVs in the headrests of the front seats, great! the TVs in the headrest of the rear seats, WHY? There's only the small LCD in the head unit for both the driver and front passenger. Why not pull the TVs from the rear headrests and put a huge LCD panel in the glove box, and maybe a laptop docking station and make your SUV a little more functional.

Also the comment about the 42" flat panel.... that'd be killa if someone could mount one behind the rear seat that was motorized and could be raised and lowered to allow viewing out the rear window, imagine popping the hatch and having a tailgate party with a 42" flat panel in your trunk rather than 3 small TVs. (and I'm not hating, this is an idea I've been pondering for awhile, kinda like a limo with the retractible "wall" between the driver and passengers with a flat panel mounted on it)

Have you considered a LCD rear mirror, for when the centre LCD panel is down and you have no line of sight out the rear? or is this SUV trailered and not actually driven?

For the playstation I'd consider wiring the 4 joystick inputs into the rear of the centre console and link all the TVs so that passengers can play 4 player action while driving.

Also, how much effort has been put into configuration of the system? Can the front passenger and a rear passenger play playstation, while another rear passenger views a DVD, all listening on headphones, while the driver uses the head unit LCD to control the system and play tunes?

I'd be impressed if I saw a system that was truely independant and setup for multiple users, rather than just had more TVs and LCDs thrown into it.

Seriously though, nice ride, wish I could afford that setup, love the blue suede interior.

 

It's funny, I was actually thinking of the same idea of the large plasma screen motorized from the rear seats. I'm keeping that idea for next year. I was also thinging of the idea of a camera in the back of the car in place of the rear view mirror and have it displayed in the front tv. There is one switch that controls if you want to show the same picture in all seven tv's or just have the large screen play something different from the other 6 tv's. So basically, The 13.3" tvis the only tv that can play something different from the rest. I can also play music and have the playstation on at the same time. So yeah, we should definitely meet up sometime. I have classes starting in a week though so weekends would be preferred.

I never know Gucci makes bag that 'BIG'. Even their Traveling bags. I love the exterior but was shocked to see the interior. I saw a Honda installed their TV on their side view mirror. I am sure you will want to add another TVs.
